La Federació d'Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya (FEEC, també anomenada Federació Catalana d'Alpinisme i Escalada), té els seus orígens al 1920, i és l'òrgan que agrupa les entitats excursionistes de
Catalunya, i que treballa per oferir serveis a aquestes entitats i per extensió a tots els practicants de les disciplines esportives lligades a l'excursionisme i alpinisme i als seus aspectes culturals.

La FEEC ostenta la representació de l'Excursionisme Català davant de qualsevol organisme públic o privat.

ÒRGANS TÈCNICS

Els òrgans tècnics de la FEEC es dediquen a àrees específiques en coordinació amb les entitats excursionistes, segons les demandes i necessitats d’aquestes: calendari de competicions, reglaments, jornades, preparació d’equips de competició, entre d’altres.

ORGANITZACIÓ TERRITORIAL

La FEEC s'organitza a Catalunya a través de 12 delegacions territorials anomenades "regions" que agrupen les entitats excursionistes de més d'una comarca. A causa de l’elevat nombre d’habitants del Barcelonès, la regió primera es subdivideix en quatre que tenen independència per elles mateixes: Baix Llobregat, Barcelonès, Vallès i Maresme.

DISCIPLINES ESPORTIVES

Excursionisme, senderisme, marxes, escalada (clàssica en roca, esportiva, de competició i escalada en glaç), alpinisme, esquí de muntanya, descens de barrancs, bicicleta de muntanya, curses de muntanya, acampada esportiva, raquetes de neu.

És competència de la FEEC la formació d'esportistes i tècnics d'aquestes activitats.

The Catalonian Federation of Rambling Clubs (FEEC, also called Catalan Federation of the Climbing), has its fundaments in the year of 1920, and represents the organisation, which connects the Catalonian entities of ramblers.

Its work consists in offering the services to these rambling entities and its extensions provided to all the practitioners of the sport disciplines connected to the rambling and the cultural aspects related.

The FEEC maintains the representation rights of the Catalan Rambling Clubs accountable in front of any public or private organisation.

TEHNICAL MEDIUM

The technical mediums of the FEEC are dedicated to the specifically established areas in co-ordination with the rambling entities, depending of its demands and necessities, like: calendar of the competitions, rules, estimated stages, preparations of the competitioner's groups, and other.

TERITORIAL ORGANISATION

The FEEC is organised in Catalonia trough the 12 territorial delegations called "regions" which bring together the entities of more than a one regional zone. As a consequence of the increased number of the inhabitants of the Barcelona City the first Regional Zone is divided into four independent regions: Baix Llobregat, Barcelones, Valles and Maresme.

THE SPORT DISCIPLINES

Rambling, trekking, hiking (footing), climbing (classical on the rocks, sport type, competition type and climbing on the ice), mountain skiing, canyoneering, mountain biking, educational courses about the mountains, sport type of camping and the outing using the snow shoes.

It belongs to the competence of the FEEC, the educational formation of the sportsmen and the technicians of this activity.
